What is the Devon Air Ambulance Lottery?

The Devon Air Ambulance Lottery is a way to raise money to fund critical care across Devon, ensuring we can continue to reach those in urgent need.

It is a weekly lottery and entries cost £1 a week. Every entry gives you the chance of winning one of 13 guaranteed cash prizes each week, with the top prize of £1,350.

A lottery draw takes place every Friday.

What are the odds of winning a prize in the lottery?

Based on our draws conducted across 2025, the average odds of winning a prize was 1 in 3,654.

What prizes are available to be won?

Every Friday, there are 13 cash prizes up for grabs:

  1. First prize: £1,350
  2. Second prize: £135 (2 winners each week)
  3. Third prize: £50 (10 winners each week)

Can you guarantee the lottery is fair?

Yes, every £1 entry has an equal chance of winning and the winning numbers will be drawn by at our External Lottery Management Company’s offices, using an industry standard ‘random number generator’.

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is regulated by The Gambling Commission to ensure all our gambling activity is conducted fairly, openly and transparently.

You can find the rules on our Lottery Terms and Conditions page.

How does the donation I can make with my entry work?

When you sign up to the lottery you can decide to round up your regular payments to the nearest £5, with the rounded portion amount donated directly to us every time you make another payment towards your lottery credit balance.

You can also choose to optionally boost your regular donation and any donations you have made to us within the last 4 years that weren't previously Gift Aided by 25%, if you are eligible for the scheme.

If for example you chose 2 chances per month, your Direct Debit total would be £8.68. If you chose to round up your regular payment with a donation, this would mean paying £10 per month, with £1.32 being donated to us. If you are eligible for and have decided to Gift Aid your donation, then we would receive an additional 24p for every £1.32 received, meaning a total monthly donation of £1.56.

Gift Aid is only eligible for the donation portion of your regular payments, not for the monies that contribute towards your lottery credit balance.
